Siphiwe Afua Masondo (also known as “Super Nkankani” eliyi Super Nkinga, Nandi Nandi, Manando BLK…), is a songwriter / performing artist / a member of the “Utrecht Music Company”.

Origionally born 27 October 2000, in Middleburg in the province of Mpumalanga. In 2006 his family relocated to a “A Town in Game Park” Utrecht in the Madlangeni Region of Kwazulu-Natal Province (a new province in his life journey at the time). Nay’Plug’s style fusion of kasi rap & trap, delivered in a smooth – rapid flow with comical & catchy lyricism / writing format. His style is inspired by artists like: KO / Kwesta / Future / Duncan / Travis Scott / Khalid and more.

He attended Emalahleni Combined School until he finished his grade 5, the following year saw him move to eNquthu, where he live with his grandmother & where he started being interested in writing poetry. This love for poetry was also fired up by the big pool of talent around his community, highlighted by his prominence in poetry & the Ndlelanhle Secondary School Friday assembly poetry reciting with other learners, made a favorite within the community. One of his inspirational poetry pieces was called “Nami ngiyafisa ukuphumelela” (which translates to “I also wish to succeed”), made a great impression with both his Zulu teachers & most of his peers – some would every verbalise to him how the piece always talks to their hearts. With a pen name “Indoni yaManzi” (which translates to “Swan”), his popularity grew as fellow learners would request for him to write specialized poetry for various topics & topics of love. That went on until he met a group of rappers, who invited him to a studio session & that is where he eventually realised that his poetry could be translated well into rap music.

Around 2019, while in Utrecht – he visited a local arts / business & restaurant called “Kwantu Village”; he met multimedia artist & producer Sibusiso Ngwalase popularly known as “Hempza Mawawa”. Uncle Hempza, recognized the pureness of the talent & started encouraging Nay’plug to true pursue his career in music & also offered to assist with some of the information needed at times to further his rapping career. Around the same time Hempza was also working on other up & coming artists music, who inturn became Nay’Plug’s collegues in the music journey – this lead to a song feature with “Ndlovukazi & Shwabada Nabadala Band” on a song called “Emasisweni”. After that came the recording of the 1st version of “NUT” (an attempt to pay tribute to his community of Utrecht & the NUT is the Car registration plates of cars registered around Utrecht…). Since then! Nay’Plug has collaborated with “Dyna Meek-SA”; a producer / rapper / performer & songwriter… to help him put together his new songs for future projects. The duo, has produced & recorded songs like “Rain” / “Awuthule” / “Magazine” / “Spikiri Sok’gcina” – songs he is preparing for the un-entitled Entry Project (EP).

Some of the artist featured on some of the song are: “Jeddie – The Machete” also know as “JTM”

Currently he is working on releasing his first official single to fully launch his independent career, the single is called “N.U.T.” (which is the abbreviation – the song is a personal dedication to his love for the community in Utrecht.

Nay’PLUG is currently working on his official debut single called “N.U.T. (Senzenjalo)”, a song that pays due to the local community of Utrecht (a.k.a. NUT – which is car number code for the Utrecht area). Produced by “DynaMeek” another rising star within the streets of Emadlangeni Region.
